    I don’t often get coyotes in daytime videos, so this is definitely an exception to the rule. I was struck by the match between the colours of the coyote and the surrounding vegetation. In common with other nocturnal videos I have captured, the coyote displays a certain skittishness. Was it sensing the camera?

    I’ve noticed coyotes being spooked by the red glow the trailcams give off when triggered at night. The first video shows a coyote pursuing a fawn, note its plaintive cries.
